In Class Program

In an effort to better serve our Washington, DC client families, I Drive Smart has created this self-paced program to maximize scheduling flexibility.  

This Self-Paced Curriculum provides an end-to-end solution for students to learn the rules of the road on their schedule at their own pace. Students can train in the program as they wish and take their time completing this comprehensive training. This truly is a self-paced course!  Although Driver Education is not a requirement in the District of Columbia, families have been utilizing I Drive Smart since 2004 as their way to train their students how to drive with the most professional school in the area.
 
The online program is divided into ten modules that cover and test each student on a series of training objectives related to the basic rules of the road, vehicle law and vehicle dynamics. Students find the narrated slides, videos and games effective tools to learn the valuable information necessary to safely operate a vehicle.
 
At the conclusion of the online program, students have the option to obtain a “Certificate of Training” issued by I Drive Smart that is often used by many client families to submit to their insurance provider often requested by the insurer when covering a new driver. This document certifies that the student has achieved up to twenty-four (24) training objectives when both the on-line and in-car program is successfully completed. This document is issued with a raised corporate seal confirming the certificate’s authenticity.  I Drive Smart owns and maintains its own technology infrastructure and tracks student performance and records all training scores via our Learning Management Platform.
