Even the most experienced and competent drivers may need to refresh their driving skills as they age. Decreasing visual skills, slower response times and forgetfulness can affect your safety and the safety of other drivers. I Drive Smart offers objective, one-on-one evaluation and training designed especially for senior drivers.

If you have a family member or friend who needs an objective, fair and professional evaluation of their driving skills, I Drive Smart can help. An evaluation does not have to result in the removal of a person's driving privilege. Often times our instructors can facilitate the implementation of techniques and training that can overcome basic challenges that come with age.

I Drive Smart instructors will:

objectively evaluate driving skill and ability
retrain the senior driver to address his or her physiological challenges
perform safety mapping of the senior driver's routine routes

Senior drivers who take refresher training or a driver improvement course may qualify for discounted auto insurance in addition to becoming safer drivers.
