Maryland New Driver Training

I Drive Smart teaches the Maryland State Driver Education Certification course for new drivers. This required course is mandated by the State of Maryland to obtain a Maryland State Driver's License. Learn more about our Maryland New Driver Training Program

Washington, DC New Driver Training

I Drive Smart teaches, in selected private schools in the District, the mandated Maryland and Virginia State Driver Education Certification course for new drivers. Although the District of Columbia does not have a driver education course requirement, many DC residents elect to take this training as an effective way to learn the rules of the road. Virginia New Driver Training

I Drive Smart offers the Virginia State Driver Education Certification course for new drivers. This required course is mandated and regulated by the State of Virginia to obtain a Virginia State Driver's License. The course runs 36 fifty-minute periods in-class and 14 fifty-minute periods behind-the-wheel. The training can be purchased from I Drive Smart either in a complete package to include both the in-class and behind-the-wheel or in a partial package to include just the in-car training.
